Result And Discussion
The Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) that implements the Nusantara Module significantly impacts inbound and outbound students. From a cognitive point of view, students understand more about the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and religions in Indonesia. They also get hands-on learning experiences about local languages, local history, and traditions in the recipient area. In terms of attitude, the students became more appreciative of differences, increased their love for the country, and strengthened their sense of tolerance. In addition, there are behavioral changes such as adapting to a new environment, better time discipline, and openness to differences.
However, there are obstacles to implementing the online program, and students tend to be less than optimal in exploring local knowledge and culture directly. Nevertheless, students' enthusiasm remains high for learning and interacting with other participants. The program also expands social networks, improves intercultural communication skills, and provides a unique learning experience through direct interaction with communities in the recipient areas.
